Rash of odd searches turns medical website into new kind of porn
An online image library intended to help doctors make dermatological diagnoses is being used as pornography, according to a study from Johns Hopkins Universitylaunched an investigation after noticing that the number of searches for images showing genital areas was unusually high. American Academy of Dermatology.
The medical site Lehmann monitored includes more than 7,800 images. Almost 6 percent (468 images) display genital areas. Lehmann's study found that 37 percent of all searches for a particular part of the human body site involved a genital region.
Evidently, some people get off on looking at a nasty rash. Wonder what the etiology of that would be . . .

He discovered that, of the 43 websites with the highest referral rates, 9 were fetish or pornography websites. More than 14 percent of enquiries came via links from those sites.
